What a laugh!
Due to my first experience with a blogger/comment basher, I've decided to remove personal photos of my family. It seems that freedom of speech isn't always considered freedom of speech on blogs. It's so sad that idiots easily misconstrue and become offended by simple typed words.
Anonymous posters really are haters in disguise. Regardless, I speak my mind so love it or leave it! Also, I've learned that not all blogs are worth my time, too! Now I wonder if my post will cause this disturbed person to lash back at me. Hahaha, BRING IT!

Oh how lame! Why is it that people just feel the need to ruin things for everyone else?

Oh no!! So sorry that happened to you! If you don't like someone's Blog you stumble upon just leave, I don't see the need for negative comments which upset and sometimes put the blogger on edge. No one would want that happening to them, why can't people put themselves in other's positions?

Hey Ms. Purple, I'm sorry to hear that you've received negative comments from others and yes, I would be equally frustrated as well. Afterall, this is our personal blogs and a platform for us to 'reach' out.
Hmmm....I remembered my old blog when I posted my concerns and sympathy for the Tsunami victims but this chap 'commented' that such calamity is 'good' for the economy of other countries..*sigh* I was truly upset :(

Hi, I stumbled onto your blog and really love your write ups. Started blogging just slightly a year ago, and recently I too encounter a very nasty blogger who cannot accept no. Got a little affected by it but with lots of encouragements from other bloggers, I pick it up again but somehow can't shake that "fear".
tell them to bring it. you should not have to change the way you blog to please a complete stranger in fact take off your annoymous comment part and they will go away.

way to go sistah! it's true, not all bloggers are friendly. so we really have to be careful about posting "personal" photos.
Ugh that sucks. I went through a similar experience. I mailed your package out though. Hope you get it and have renewed faith in blogland.
That's really unfortunate. It might be in the best interest for your family though. The internet is like the Wild West and anyone can pretty much do anything they like, that includes being a jerk.
I know what you are going through. I had some negative anonymous comments on my blog. It was about a yr ago now & it was very distressing. Mainly because I found out it was a friend. Needless to say, we aren't close anymore.
Just remember it's YOUR blog & you can put anything on here that YOU want. If other's don't like it that they don't have to read it.

What senseless nonsense, I thought that was blogging was about, to speak freely and let yourself express who you really are.......

that's unfortunate. i had problems in the past with people...i don't like to put pictures on the net not unless i know the person well.
some ppl. are only interested to look for beautiful girls....and what ever idea they may have!
anyways, you can't please everyone.

just remember, them bashers have nothing else more intelligent to do or say. ignore them. always.
I can understand how horrible it is to get insulted by strangers! So sad... I also got one frustrated anonymous person who left a very unkind remark after I had left a comment on another blog!
Don't take those miserable people seriously, they have nothing else to do than to lose their time spreading negative energies around them! Such people are very poor...
Grrrr! That sucks and I am so sorry you have to deal with stuff like that.
I had a HORRID basher on my blog around Christmas time. They wrote awful things about me and my pets. Whatever. Some people are just pathetic. So sad they cannot channel that energy into doing volunteer work and helping people instead of being vile worthless beings.
It is why I have comment moderater also.

This is actually the second time I have heard of negative feedback on a blog. I guess there are people like that everywhere, even blogland! Glad to see you are back and everyone feeling better!
